About this course

Almost every student who arrives at ELOQUA says the same thing: "I understand everything, but I cannot speak." This course is for exactly that.

Groups are capped at six because talking time is the whole point — in a class of twelve you speak half as much. Every session is built around a task you have to complete by talking, and correction happens in a feedback slot at the end so it never interrupts the flow.

You are also given a personal error list that grows and shrinks over the ten weeks. Watching it shrink is the most motivating thing in the course.

Levels run from A2 to C1; you are placed after a short spoken assessment in the first session.

Who it is for

  • Learners who freeze in conversation despite good grammar and vocabulary
  • People returning to English after years away from it
  • Anyone preparing for a job interview, a move abroad or study in English

Entry requirements

CEFR A2 or above. Complete beginners are better served elsewhere first — we will tell you.

Questions

What level do I need?

A2 and above. You are placed after a short spoken assessment in the first session, and moved if the level is wrong — at no charge.

Will you correct every mistake?

No. Correcting everything as you speak destroys fluency. Errors are noted and dealt with in a feedback slot at the end of each session, and tracked on your personal error list.
